Our website, Real Overcoming, was established in order to strengthen and encourage people who encounter hardships in their lives by empowering them and suggesting practical ways to overcome their obstacles. On our website, you will find video clips of people, (called Overcomers) who have experienced a variety of problems, and have overcome them successfully. You can also confer with our professional Consultants through video chat or at their facilities.

Membership is Free!!To become a Member, go to our ‘Home Page’ and click the banner ‘Get Free Videos -Become a Member Today' in the left hand bar. You can also become a member by pressing the 'Become a Member' button in the top bar. After you have completed the registration process you will be sent an e-mail with an activation link. After pressing the link you will automatically be logged in and you can start watching the free video clips.

Choose from the various categories on our home page. Once you are in the category you want, make your selection from the available sub-categories. You can continue searching through the different sub-categories until you find your exact topic of interest. We also have an automated search capacity in which you can type the subject you are seeking and have the computer conduct a search for you in our database.

We make every effort to authenticate the stories before placing them on our website. Real Overcoming staff personally meet with every Overcomer on the website. However, despite these efforts it is impossible to ensure 100% authenticity.

An Overcomer is someone who has surmounted an obstacle or hardship in his or her life. The Overcomer describes his or her story on a film clip, which is available free of charge for viewing by our Members.

A Consultant is a professional practitioner who provides support and ongoing coaching to our Consultees. Online consultations are conducted via video chat on the website. In many cases, consultation is also offered at the Consultant's facilities.

To become an Overcomer, go to our Home Page and click the "Become an Overcomer" button on the top bar. After filling out and sending the form you will be sent guidelines on how to prepare your overcoming video clip. You are offered two options: You can film a clip independently (based on the site's specifications) or you can be filmed at Real Overcoming's studio. Your status will become that of a New Overcomer only after your clip has undergone strict quality control.

In order to become a professional Consultant, you must first fill out the Consultant's Registration Form. Go to our Home Page and click the ‘Become a Consultant’ button on the top bar. You will be asked to fill out a virtual Business Card and prepare a very short video clip about yourself and your area of expertise.

We review each application to become a professional Consultant with care. Our Consultants are Real Overcoming representatives, and as such they must offer a high level of professionalism and care.

In order to schedule a session with a Consultant you must first register as a Consultee. When you press the "Schedule a Session" button on the Consultant's Page you are offered the option of becoming a Consultee. Once you have registered, you can contact a Consultant by typing his name in the Advanced Search box. You can also locate him by pressing the option "Consultants Only" on the Advanced Search page. In addition, you can contact a Consultant via the Consultant's Page.

If you have decided to cancel your membership, please press the "Contact Us" link located on the top bar of the Home Page. You can state your request in the form that will appear.

We, at Real Overcoming, value our members', overcomers' and consultants’ privacy. For further information regarding this policy, please press the "Privacy Policy" link located on the bottom bar of the Home Page.

To change your password you must first log in. Once you have logged in, go to the "My Real Overcoming" link on the top bar. Click the "Change Your Password" option and follow the instructions.

If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Your Password" button on the Home Page. Simply follow the instructions on the "Password Reminder" page.

We have introduced the possibility of conducting various searches so that you can find your desired subject matter easily. Searches can be conducted for specific content matter on our website according to the following criteria: By word (a specific word, such as a field you are interested in, for e.g. learning disabilities or diets); By the name of a specific overcomer (for e.g. Jane Cohen); By category (Emotional, Physical, Financial or Relationships) or sub-category (for e.g., aesthetics or plastic surgery); By the movie's publication date; By the movie's name, the movie's rating and the consultant's rating. Filtering can also be performed according to Consultants or Overcomers only.
